An in depth health online assessment with an integrative thyroid specialist

Identify the root cause of your Hashimoto’s so you can finally heal and reclaim your life.

Hashimoto’s Case Review

You’ve been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s. Your doctor put you on a generic thyroid medication and your TSH is now “normal”. But you still don’t feel better. You still struggle to get through your day without crashing. It is hard to focus and mentally exhausting to keep up with your life. You feel depressed and defeated as you to continue to struggle with your energy, brain fog, weight, and mood, and you wonder if your hair will ever stop falling out.

You’ve done the research and asked your doctor to order more thyroid labs than just TSH. You’ve asked to try other medications only to be told no and offered an antidepressant. You know there is more—more treatments than just thyroid medications, more labs than just a thyroid panel, and more options than to just feel terrible for the rest of your life—but your doctor isn’t helping.

And you are right. Hashimoto’s is an autoimmune disease. It is NOT just a thyroid disease. To treat Hashimoto’s, you have to treat the immune system. Your symptoms are not just about your thyroid. Your symptoms are driven by inflammation that is affecting your entire body. You have to treat the immune system to decrease the inflammation so your body can actually heal.

How It Works

Step 1: Medical history deep dive

Dr. Carly will take a deep dive into your medical history and symptoms to finally get to the bottom of your health. You will complete a Health Timeline, Food Journal, and Health Questionnaire, and share pertinent medical records prior to your Case Review. With this comprehensive intake, Dr. Carly will be assessing your Hashimoto’s triggers, including microbiome imbalances, chronic infections, biotoxin illness and more. She will also be assessing all your current symptoms and lifestyle factors to identify inflammatory mediators and secondary conditions beyond Hashimoto’s.

Step 2: get access to advanced labs

Prior to your consultation, you will have the opportunity to complete additional labs. Dr. Carly knows that your doctors may have been denied your access to labs and that is partly why you are not better. Dr. Carly has partnered with several companies to provide access to basic blood work as well as advanced integrative labs without a doctor’s order. During registration, you can complete Dr. Carly’s lab quizzes to help pick out what labs you may need. While Dr. Carly wants you to get the most out of your Case Review, you are not obligated to complete any labs prior to your consultation. You will have access to lab testing before and after your appointment.

Step 3: 90 minute ConsultatioN

During this extended appointment, Dr. Carly will discuss her assessment of your case. She will review possible autoimmune triggers, explanations for your current symptoms, suggested lab testing, and potential treatments to discuss with your doctor. She will cover educational information on nutrition, medications, supplements and other modalities as it pertains to your case. You will have time to ask all your questions. After the appointment, you will receive an extensive case write-up (50+ pages) to keep for your records and share with your other health care providers. Dr. Carly is not able to offer follow up appointments after your Case Review.

The Case Review is educational only. This appointment does not establish a doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Carly will not be ordering labs or prescribing medications. Additionally, she will not be able to offer follow up consultations. This is a one time only opportunity to receive guidance from Dr. Carly, pick her brain, and get access to advanced lab testing (self-order).

“I had been diagnosed with Hashimoto's and was frustrated with the lack of treatment knowledge from my primary MD and the endocrinologist she sent me to. From the first meeting, I was very comfortable with Dr. Carly. She is very intelligent, knowledgeable, responsive and really cares about the well being of her patients. In just the short time I have been seeing her my symptoms have improved greatly. I trust Dr. Carly's judgment and advice implicitly.”
