An in depth health online assessment with an integrative Gastrointestinal specialist

Identify the root cause of your digestive symptoms so you can finally heal and reclaim your life.

Gut Case Review

Have you been brushed off by your primary care doctor or gastroenterologist about your chronic digestive complaints? Have you asked your doctors to order tests and their response is to prescribe Prilosec or Miralax? Did your gastroenterologist finally do an endoscopy or colonoscopy just to tell you that nothing is wrong with you?

Maybe you sought out integrative care and eliminated 15+ foods from your diet. But you still have digestive symptoms and are now just scared of food. Maybe you have tried a bunch of different generic “gut supplements” to experience no improvements.

You are pretty sure you have an imbalance in your microbiome but it doesn’t seem like any of your providers really know what they are doing. They either recommend a generic probiotic or they try to sell you on some expensive Candida or parasite cleanse without any testing.

You are beyond frustrated and you are looking for a real expert. Someone who knows how to use the most advanced stool tests (next generation sequencing, anyone?) and leverage the latest microbiome research to create personalized gut protocols. But you also want someone who will think beyond the microbiome. Someone who can assess how your liver function, stomach acid levels, and motility are contributing to your symptoms. Someone who knows how hormones, stress, the nervous system, sleep, and exercise impact digestive function and the microbiome.

How It Works

Step 1: Medical history deep dive

Dr. Carly will take a deep dive into your medical history and symptoms to finally identify causes and contributing factors. You will complete a Health Timeline, Food Journal, and Health Questionnaire and share pertinent medical records prior to your Case Review. With this comprehensive intake, Dr. Carly will be assessing microbiome triggers, as well as all internal and external factors contributing to your digestive symptoms.

Step 2: get access to advanced labs

Prior to your consultation, you will have the opportunity to complete lab work. Dr. Carly knows that many individuals have been denied access to labs and that has prevented a proper diagnosis. Dr. Carly has partnered with several companies to provide access to basic blood work as well as advanced integrative labs without a doctor’s order. An interactive quiz designed by Dr. Carly will guide you on what labs to order. While Dr. Carly wants you to get the most out of your Case Review, you are not obligated to complete any labs prior to your consultation. You will have access to lab testing before and after your appointment.

Step 3: 90 minute ConsultatioN

During this extended appointment, Dr. Carly will discuss her assessment of your case. She will review possible explanations for your current symptoms, suggested lab testing, and potential treatments to discuss with your doctor. She will cover educational information on nutrition, medications, supplements and other modalities as it pertains to your case. You will have time to ask all your questions. After the appointment, you will receive an extensive case write-up (50+ pages) to keep for your records and share with your other health care providers.

The Case Review is educational only. This appointment does not establish a doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Carly will not be ordering labs or prescribing medications. Additionally, she will not be able to offer follow up consultations. This is a one time only opportunity to receive guidance from Dr. Carly, pick her brain, and get access to advanced lab testing (self-order).
